12 bottles of wine for just £69.95 a saving of £8.89 on the full case price
Uncomplicated very drinkable wines are sometimes hard to find but I have put together a case of wines that are just that. The case contains two bottles of each, after all there is nothing worse than really enjoying a bottle of wine and not having a second bottle of the same to open.
An average bottle price of just £5.83
Ca di Ponti Nero D’Avola – Sicily – Modern winemaking techniques bring clean fruit and very drinkable wine.
Santa Rosa Merlot – Chile – soft well rounded plummy fruit. Wine that will simply ‘evaporate’ in front of that fire
Mas de Vigneron Vin de Pays de Vaucluse – Dark fruit, spice and a twist of cracked black pepper
Borsao Garnacha – Spain – from a sub region of Rioja but made to enhamce the lovely red fruit character
Sierra Grande Cabernet Sauvignon – Chile – soft blackcurrant and mint flavours, well rounded finish
Montevista Merlot – Chile – Plums yes but more structure and length than the Santa Rosa
